‘Oh India’ Exhibition - Sydney

Following my 5 month trip across India where I had a chance meet in a Darjeeling Café with Michael Symons, founder of Cobra and Mongoose Charity group, I was made aware of the education program, ‘Kaikala Chetana,’ that Michael has been assisting in recent years. I had the pleasure of visiting the centre some few weeks later and met the man that turned his home into a space where children had the opportunity to learn, an opportunity which is far from reach for many of the children in the remote village, Somnath. I was inspired by Somnath’s vision and the work that he does for the children, now amounting to some 800 children across over 20 open air locations across the village. So I decided to exhibit some of my favourite photos from my trip to raise money for Somnath's centre to continue to expand and develop.

Through the sales of all 25 exhibited works, the exhibition raised over $5000AUD, funding the program for the next 2 years.
